What's included
Selenkay Conservancy and Ol Pejeta Conservancy are two important conservation areas in Kenya dedicated to wildlife protection and habitat preservation. Selenkay Conservancy, located just north of Amboseli National Park, is part of the same ecosystem and was created on land leased from the local Maasai community to safeguard the natural habitat and promote conservation efforts. Similarly, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, situated in Laikipia County at the foothills of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountain Range, is East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary and a critical refuge for some of the last remaining northern white rhinos. Originally a colonial cattle ranch, Ol Pejeta has transformed into a pioneering wildlife conservancy that also serves as a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. Both conservancies are committed to wildlife protection and sustainable tourism, supporting the coexistence of nature and local communities.
